Overview

Our Project Inspiration

Health Harmon's story began with a personal health scare within my family. Watching my father combat an ulcer and its side effects from prolonged PPI use, including a severe Vitamin B deficiency, sparked a realization that there is a huge oversight in the way health is approached. The real improvement happened when we combined Western medicine with holistic practices, speeding up his recovery. There has to be a better way to approach health—a way that marries the precision of Western medicine with the natural wisdom of nutrition and supplements. That's how idea behind this Health Harmon was born.

02

The Nutrition Gap in Medical Education

Despite the crucial link between nutrition and health, U.S. medical schools dedicate minimal time to nutrition education. On average, future doctors receive less than 20 hours of nutrition training across four years of study. This gap has far-reaching consequences, impacting how patients are educated and treated for chronic conditions.

03

The Rise of Prescription Dependency

Over the past two decades, prescription rates in the U.S. have surged by 85%, with many individuals now relying on multiple medications daily. This trend often overlooks foundational nutritional health, which could potentially reduce dependency on pharmaceuticals.

Medication & Nutrition Interactions

Awareness of how medications interact with overall nutrition & vitamins is crucial but often overlooked.

An ideal app would alert users to potential medication and nutrition interactions,, and preventing adverse outcomes
